the chamber of handicraft in Fez Meknes has been created within the framework of the democratic orientation of our country , in response to the needs of a certain group of Moroccan society that contribute a great deal to the economic fabric of the country under the statute of chambers of handicraft No.1.63.149 of 5 Safar 1383, corresponding to 28 June 1963, which was amended by decree No. 1.11.89 of 16 Ramadan 1432 corresponding to 17 August 2011 implementing law No.18.09 as the statute of the chambers of traditional industry.
The traditional chamber of industry in Fez meknes is a public institution of a professional nature, enjoying moral character and financial independence, which present traditional manufacturers, traditional industry contractors and traditional industry cooperatives are within their territorial influence with national, regional and local public authorities.
In accordance with the decree No.1.15.83 issued on 20 Ramadan 1436, corresponding to 7 July 2015, implementing the regulatory law No.111.14 concerning the areas. The traditional chambers of industry in Fez-Bouleman, the destination of Meknes-Tafilalet and the destination of Al HoceimaTaza-Taounate were marged into one chamber which is the chamber of handicraft Fez-Meknes region .
Defines the functions and competencies of chambers of traditional industry
-The manner and conditions of keeping this record shall be determined by an organizational text.
-Creating a cell of economic activists to guide investors in the traditional industry sector and to assist and guide traditional manufacturers,
contractors and cooperatives of traditional industry and professional associations working in the traditional industry sector to better manage their activities;
-Mainstream the scientific, technical and economic data associated with the traditional industry sector for the benefit of traditional manufacturers and traditional industry contractors and cooperatives;
-The completion of studies that will help them to carry out the tasks entrusted to them.
-Contributing to the framing of vocational training centers;
- Creation and participation of professional gradation centers;
- Participation in the preparation and development of formal vocational training programs;
- Evaluate and contribute to the needs associated with the continuous training of traditional industrialists, contractors and cooperatives.
-Support the marketing of traditional village products;
-Organizing permanent exhibitions and exhibitions as well as holding festivals and matches related to product revitalization;
-Contribute to and encourage the acquisition of products of traditional industry and to frame the purchasers when undertaking reconnaissance visits;
- Advertising of traditional products.

-Take the role of mediation and arbitration between the two trades in accordance with the provisions No.1.07.169 of 19 ThiQiaada 1428 ( November 30. 2007) to implement law No.08.05 to copy and compensate chapter eight of section five of the civil procedure code;

-Encourage traditional and handicraft manufactures to organize themselves in associations, cooperatives and professional organizations to develop their own capacities and encourage them to engage in them.
-Tracking the stages of completion of the infrastructure of the traditional industry with its circles of territorial influence;
-Marketing shops, spots and spaces updated within the infrastructure of the traditional industry with its circles of territorial influence;
-Publicize the infrastructure of the traditional industry sector with its territorial influence and revive the marketing of traditional products within these structures.
-To conclude twinning agreements and exchange experiences and experiences with national and foreign professional bodies.
-Contribution to environmental protection.
-Contribution to support investment and employment.
